Whitey’s Ice Cream announced it is closing its Eldridge location and 53rd Street Davenport location for a few days after two employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
They company posted both announcements on Facebook Thursday explaining that one employee at each store contracted the virus outside of work and they both have not worked at the store since the weekend. No other employees are showing symptoms at this time.
The Eldridge and 53rd Street Whitey’s store swill be closed for a few days in order to allow for deep cleaning and to give employees who worked time to get tested.
