Federal Charges For Davenport's Low Riders Street Gang

Nearly a dozen members of Davenport's Low Rider motorcycle gang are facing a variety of federal charges.

Davenport Police and the U-S Attorney's Office say a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging 11 members of the “Low Riders” street with racketeering, drug trafficking and firearms charges.

Prosecutors say the gang sold drugs and weapons, and shot rival gang members. The U.S. Attorney's Office says the charges are the result of a multi-year investigation into the Low Riders.

Police say the indictments and arrests were part of a multi-year investigation of the gang.
